Description: A gassaku, joint work, by six artists. In the upper left corner is a poem by Yamanaka Shinten, signing as Shintenō, old man Shinnen. Upper right corner a branch of a plum tree and a poem painted and written by Ema Tenkō (1824-1901). In the middle a Buddha's Hand, or Fingered citron (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis) painted by Nakanishi Kōseki (1809-1884). Left of this two crabs, a chrysanthemum, and a poem by Murata Kōkoku (1831-1912). Under left a pomegranate painted by Maeda Chōdō (1813-1878). Finally in the under right corner a poem by the calligrapher Kamiyama Hōyō (1824-1890). Painting on silk. Dated 1871. Including box, not original.
