Description: Three tiered bentō (traditional lunch box) in red-brown lacquer. With cardboard box. In 1994 Akagi Akito became an independent lacquerware craftsman of Wajima-nuri.In 1997 he exhibited in Berlkin at the contemporary Lacquerware exhibition at the Germanische National Museum. In 2000 he participated in the exhibition Utsuwa- thoughts on Contemporary Vessels in the National Museum of Modern Art Tokyo and in 2012 at the MAK, Vienna in the exhibition: 'Things: plain and simple'
