Interior of the box and the bottom of the box decorated with gold nashiji.
Unidentified artist, Wajima lacquerware artisan (Wajima is known for its hiqh quality lacquerware).
With original box signed with artist seal, on the lid it reads ‘Wajima nuri tebako maki-e’ (wajima lacquer tebako, maki-e).
