Description: Sumi landscape painting on paper. Tatsukichi, born in Hekinan (Aichi prefecture), was an important reformer of the traditional arts in Japan and a pioneer of the modern craft world. He was a multi-talented crafts artist. The museum of contemporary art in Hekinan where he was born was named after him. With original double box. Signed Tatsukichi, with artist seal. Inner lid reads 'sansui keshiki' (water and mountain landscape).
