Remarkable painting by an artist who was considered quite experimental in his style, shows a typical Chinese landscape executed with the use of a bright clear blue pigment, with the contours of the mountains heightened with gold. The text in the right hand corner contains a poem:
The young dragon dives down, the green reaches to the sky;
I like to sit on the green cloth and boil the water from the well [to make tea].
Fleeing the world; I would look for the art of the Hairy Lady,
wandering through the mountains, I enthusiastically admire the Immortal Wo Quan.
Along the brook everything is covered with dew and the lingzhi [mushroom] grows,
Under the rocks I lie on the moss without going to sleep.
