| Stockno.: | S22-007 | Artist: | Hasegawa Gyokuhō (1822-1879) | Description: | Scroll painting on silk of a group of red-crowned cranes. Four cranes stand together in a group, with a small baby crane huddled in the back. Two more cranes are seen flying closeby. Cranes are considered an auspicious animal, and it is probably not a coincidence that this painting features seven, as seven is seen as a lucky number in Japan. With box.
