From a series of four, each showing a woman and in the cartouche a member of one of the four classes. A courtesan with paper towel in her mouth is standing next to a lamp, straightening her obi. Her kimono is decorated with swallows. Behind her the black shamisen box. The cartouche shows a a merchant sitting on the upper floor of a (tea) house, enjoying a drink.
