Description: No. 21, Itsukushima moon, a Muro courtesan (Itsukushima no tsuki - Muro no asobime いつくしまの月 室遊女), from the series One Hundred Aspects of the moon (Tsuki hyakushi 月百姿). Published by Akiyama Buemon in February 1886. A courtesan - partly hidden from view by her large travelling hat- from the port town Muro approaching the island of Itsukushima by boat, passing the base of the hugte torii (sacred gate) at the Itsukushima shore.
Signed:Yoshitoshi, with seal Taiso.
