Hotei has exhibited at the PAN Amsterdam 2013 artfair.
This year we showed you modern Japanese prints, bronzes and paintings. In addition to this, we have a beautiful selection of classic prints by Harunobu, Masayoshi, Shikimaro, Utamaro, Hokusai, Hiroshige, Kuniyoshi etc. Other items on display: a very rare complete set of woodblocks of an 18th century erotic book, an album containing 12 large 19th century erotic paintings, many lacquer pieces (e.g. 10 plates decorated by Imao Keinen, in original box and wrappers), but also natsume, bronzes, mizuzashi and a nice brass sculpture of a cheetah.
Hotei hosted a sales exhibition of works of art by four contemporary artists: Keisuke Yamamoto, Hitoshi Nakamori, Naoto Okuyama and Masahiko Kubota titled "Hotei goes modern: 'Tones of Black'.
