Signed on bottom ‘Keizan’ in gold lacquer.
With original box, signed by the artist made by Keizan ‘Keizan saku’ with artist’s seal. Inscription reads: Wajima lacquer natsume (Wajima nuri natsume).
*Goro Hirano, pen name Keizan. Renowned Wajima-nuri lacquer artist who has won many prizes and exhibited at not only local art exhibitions but also at the prestigious Nitten (Japan Fine Arts Exhibition) at 1978 and 1979.
