Bottom and interior of gold nashiji (fine sprinkled gold powder).
With original box signed box ‘made by Yōsuke’ with artist’s seal.
Inscription reads ‘Rokkasen, maki-e, hira natsume (flat natsume), interior of nashiji.
*Reading of name presumably Tanaka Yōsuke. Born in 1956 in Ishikawa Prefecture, Yamanaka. In 1974 graduated from Ishikawa Prefectural Daishoji High School. 1979 finished his studies at the maki-e atelier of 越田義信.
