Ribbed texture on the remainder of the lid. Body of natsume decorated with pampas grass in gold lacquer and gold flakes. Bottom of natsume also decorated with the same gold flake lacquer.
With original signed box, inscription reads: crescent moon (mikazuki) kinrin-ji natsume.
*Born 1957 in Wajima prefecture, Kaga city. From 1977 studied under lacquerware artisan 表正則氏. From 1982 onward worked independently.
